As an Sr. engine component design engineer, you will lead designs, develops, builds, and implements new products, components, or technologies. You will always chase low cost & robust design and provide engineering support for components re-sourcing and localization, also support internal & external customers as component expert. What You Will Do:
Designs, develops, builds, and implements new products, components, or technologiesResearching new materials and competitive products. Organizing, coordinating, and executing the building, testing, and analysis of prototypes.Assisting supply specialists and buyers with supplier development and supplier performance. Overseeing the efforts of drafting and testing specialists.Developing and documenting functional requirements and translating into detail design documents. Participating in buy-build analysis for product components.Participating in and supporting proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports.What Skills You Will Have:

Required Qualifications:
Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Automobile, or Mechanical Engineering.Work experience in the design and development of components for the internal combustion engines or construction machinery.Technical knowledge and experience of engine product development methodology and tools (APQP, FMEA, DVP&R)Having excellent project management skills, good teamwork and communication skills, able to collaborate with different teams to complete projectFluency in English oral and written communication skillsDesired Qualifications:
Technical knowledge and experience in diesel engine core system components design and manufacture.Demonstrated strong ability of problem-solving skills, experience of project managementKnowledge of Lean or 6 Sigma methodology and toolsAdditional Information:
This position may require 10% travel.The location for this position is Wuxi.Posting Dates:
