We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to focus on the design and system integration of refrigerant sealed systems for laundry drying products. This role is pivotal in enhancing the performance and efficiency of our products, primarily focusing on new product introduction while also supporting existing product lines. You will tackle complex engineering challenges related to sealed system design and contribute to the development of engineering processes and procedures for refrigerant systems in clothes care.

**How You'll Create Possibilities**
+ Design and optimize refrigerant sealed systems and components for front load washing machines and clothes dryers.
+ Lead product development projects, including NPI processes, ensuring successful manufacturing implementation.
+ Identify innovative solutions to enhance performance and provide support for existing product lines.
+ Utilize advanced engineering analysis to design and refine parts, assemblies, and systems for optimal performance and cost efficiency.
+ Conduct hands-on testing and prototyping to validate designs, resolve issues, and optimize functionality.
+ Drive cost-out initiatives (MCTO) and lead quality improvement projects (COQ) to reduce material costs and improve overall product quality.
+ Utilize CAD tools (such as CREO) to create, modify, and release drawings and BOMs.
+ Collaborate with suppliers to ensure proper material selection and process applicability.
+ Participate in engineering and reliability lab activities to test and validate new design concepts.
+ Integrate AI and other advanced technologies into product designs to enhance functionality and performance.
**What You'll Bring to Our Team**
+ BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
+ Minimum of 5 years of design engineering experience, preferably in consumer appliances or a technical field focused on refrigerant sealed system design, manufacture, and system integration.
+ Strong understanding of sealed systems and proven experience leading product development projects.
+ Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and utilizing tools to validate designs.
+ Proficient in CAD software (e.g., CREO, SolidWorks).
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex systems and propose design solutions.
+ Experience with materials selection, cost reduction strategies, and designing for manufacturability.
+ Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate technical information clearly.
