Join our Clothes Care Technology Structure Center of Excellence (COE) and play a key role in shaping the future of laundry solutions.
We are seeking a talented and driven Senior Design Engineer to be an integral part of our Clothes Care Technology Structure COE. This role involves the design, development, and implementation of highly efficient and reliable washers and dryers. You will collaborate closely with other engineers, manufacturing, and commercial teams to understand consumer needs and create innovative products that set new industry standards. Your expertise in engineering analysis and judgment, combined with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations, will be crucial to your success in this position.

**How You'll Create Possibilities**
+ Function as a design engineer responsible for developing optimized solutions around cost, quality, and performance within the Clothes Care Technology Structure COE team.
+ Own engineering responsibility for assigned parts and deliver projects through the C-change process or NPI process, depending on project assignments. Projects may include MCTO, COQ, NPI, and production elements.
+ Guide less experienced engineers on fundamental problem-solving techniques, engineering principles, and project management skills.
+ Help guide technology roadmap development and execution around critical technologies necessary for a competitive advantage within the industry.
+ Create and modify technical drawings, release associated Bills of Materials (BOMs), and apply GD&T principles.
**What You'll Bring to Our Team**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
+ 5 years of experience in design engineering, preferably in the home appliance industry.
+ Proficiency in CAD software and engineering analysis tools.
+ Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
+ Strong engineering analysis and judgment skills.
+ Proven ability to develop innovative solutions that exceed customer expectations.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor less experienced engineers.
+ Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
