Join our forward-thinking team now to collaborate with skilled professionals across the industry and create impactful results!_** **What is the job about?** As a Senior Designer, you will be an integral member of the North American Industry Project Team, with the primary function of generating engineered drawings and CAD models for use in proposals and the manufacturing of Grundfos Engineered Systems (GES) and Dosing Systems (DSS). This position reports directly to the Sr. Sales Manager (Projects) and will operate on a hybrid schedule from our facilities in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon, MX. Qualified candidates must have authorization to work in Mexico without support now or in the future. **Your main responsibilities:** + Generate General Arrangement, P&IDs, structural and pipe fabrication drawings, and CAD models for engineered systems using SolidWorks software. + Meet the design criteria and requirements from consultant engineers, end users, and other clients. + Create, modify, and revise mechanical drawings to support product design and manufacturing. + Prepare, coordinate, and oversee internal design reviews. + Ensure that product designs meet required safety and structural standards. + Adapt and integrate 3rd party component designs into modular system designs. + Collaborate closely with Modular Systems team members, including Project Managers, Project Engineers, Applications Engineers, Controls Engineers, and System Assemblers. + Work with Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager to compile installation, operation, and maintenance (IOM) packages, including creation of job-specific IOMs and supplier documentation. + Create Bill of Materials (BOM) on structural and pipe fabrication drawings. + Convert 3D models to STEP/BIM and other formats. + Maintain and update drawing library. + Modify drawings for enclosure manufacturers with the detailed openings. + Utilize check list for requesting/creating drawings. + Perform deflection calculations on skid lifting lugs where required. **Your background** We imagine that you have: + Bachelor’s degree in engineering technologies or a related field. + Minimum of 2 years of working CAD experience in SolidWorks, and ability to learn new software. + Minimum of 1 year of experience with a mechanical equipment packager or a consulting Engineering, Procurement and Construction firm. + Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication. + Proficient using MSOffice suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.), Adobe Acrobat, Internet/Intranet Navigation. + Design-related product and applications knowledge. + Capable of coordinating multiple critical assignments while delivering precise results to align with customer demands and urgency in a rapidly evolving workplace. **What’s in it for you?** What are your goals?
