The successful candidate will work alongside our software developers in a collaborative environment, contributing to the development and deployment of high-quality, infrastructure projects. Responsibilities:

Design and implement IaC solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar to manage our GCP infrastructure Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code configurations for our cloud services, including networking, storage, and compute resources Collaborate with developers to deploy high-throughput pipelines and ensure seamless integration with our platform's services and functionality Identify opportunities for cost and performance improvements and implement changes using IaC principles Set up and manage instrumentation for application performance monitoring using tools like Prometheus and Grafana Run research spikes to maintain our team's knowledge of incoming cloud/data services and IaC best practices

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar Experience with cloud services like GCP, including networking, storage, and compute resources Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes Experience with application logging/tracing/performance monitoring using tools like Prometheus and Grafana Experience with Linux infrastructure and scripting languages like Python or Bash Experience with version control systems like Git Strong understanding of IaC principles and best practices
