Overview Job Purpose ICE, a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, presents multiple, unique opportunities for a full-time Senior Developer (Java) to join a team responsible for contributing to the design, development, maintenance and support of an enterprise workflow application. The Senior Developer will report to the Senior Principal Engineer. Responsibilities Contribute to the design and development of an enterprise workflow application Support and enhance multiple mission-critical enterprise applications Write unit and integration tests for new and legacy code Take initiative and work independently on some projects while contributing to a large team on others Collaborate with QA team to ensure quality production code Provide second-tier production support for 24/7 applications. Knowledge and Experience 5-10 years experience with core Java and Java EE Dedication to test-driven development Experience with microservice architectures. Familiarity with Containers, Kubernetes and/or Red Hat OpenShift Preferred Comprehension of Spring Framework Understanding of AWS Lambdas Experience with Agile development methodologies Knowledge of Gradle Experience with JavaScript and React UI Schedule This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.
