Skills and Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of Core PHP and Advanced and understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP
• Understanding of MVC design patterns, flow.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, and CSS3. Bootstrap is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge on JIRA and how its backend works along with good understanding of JIRA tool (application, database, API etc).
• Strong knowledge on AJAX methods.
• Strong knowledge on REST api’s, SOAP services and cloud api’s. Good understanding on JSON objects.
• Strong knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
• Understanding accessibility and security compliance {{Depending on the specific project}}
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application and making it responsive and user friendly
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.
• Strong knowledge on MySQL, Mssql, Oracle DB. Any other database knowledge is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as SVN, Git
Having knowledge on .NET and Python is an added advantage
