Burns McDonnell is seeking a Senior API and Integration Developer to play a critical role in advancing our corporate-wide data integration strategy. In this position, you will lead the development of innovative solutions to connect business applications, modernize legacy systems, and build scalable APIs. Collaborating with cross-functional teams within IT and across all Global Practices, you will drive seamless data connectivity across the organization and provide technical leadership in API design and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the integration development lifecycle – from design and development to deployment and support – ensuring efficiency and agility.Partner with stakeholders to design and implement integration solutions that align with business objectives.Analyze and assess complex business requirements to address technical challenges and ensure successful delivery.Design and build APIs using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and tools like RAML, Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, and MUnit, incorporating CI/CD best practices.Develop and execute test plans (unit, integration, and performance) while providing operational support, including troubleshooting, in accordance with SLAs (including after-hours support as needed).Identify and mitigate project risks proactively to ensure smooth project execution.Establish and refine integration standards for development, governance, and operations.Drive continuous improvement in API and integration strategies.Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the integration team.
