Senior Developer I, Enterprise Data Management - Data Platform Development

This role is ideal for a highly motivated and technically proficient professional looking to contribute to the firm's data and analytics vision, while furthering their expertise in modern data technologies and cloud-based solutions. **Responsibilities:** + Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of the enterprise data platform, ensuring it meets the scalability, performance, and security needs of the business. + Implement and optimize cloud-based data platforms with a focus on leveraging tools like Snowflake, Data Bricks, and Big Data Ecosystem technologies to drive data transformation and analytics. + Support advanced data engineering solutions, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and publication, with a focus on enabling modern AI and analytics capabilities. + Work closely with the Lead Technologist II to align platform development initiatives with the firm’s strategic data management roadmap and architecture. + Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of the data platform with other enterprise systems, enabling seamless data flow and usability. + Evaluate and implement emerging technologies and tools to enhance the capabilities of the platform, ensuring the firm remains at the forefront of data innovation. **Requirements:** + Minimum of 7+ years of related experience in platform development or data engineering roles. + Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a Master’s or equivalent experience in a relevant field being a plus. + Demonstrated experience in full-stack development, including expertise in both frontend and backend technologies, to design and implement scalable, end-to-end solutions + Proven hands-on experience with technologies such as Java, Kafka, Spark, Snowflake, and Data Bricks. + Strong foundation in technologies for data ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics. + Proficiency in cloud deployment models and platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. + Demonstrated ability to implement scalable data pipelines and manage large-scale data systems. + Familiarity with enterprise data governance, data security, and compliance best practices. + Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. + Highly collaborative approach with the ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments. + Ability to identify and solve complex problems, leveraging emerging technologies to drive innovation and operational efficiency. **Leadership:** + Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment. + Effective at communicating technical concepts and strategic priorities to a wide range of audiences. + Highly driven and results-oriented, with a passion for delivering high-impact solutions. \#LI-DD2 \#LI-hybrid Compensation Details The salary range for this role is $120,000-$165,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package.
