What you will do!

 

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Developer to join our SAP Event Mesh team within the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). In this role, you will drive the design and development of scalable, cloud-native reusable services, ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our multi-cloud, multi-tenant environments. You will collaborate closely with the SRE team and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

- Lead the development, enhancement and support of cloud-native features and services.

- Collaborate with the SRE team to support and optimize our services on the cloud platform.

- Contribute hands-on to the creation of high-quality, scalable microservices architecture.

- Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of our cloud solutions.

- Share your expertise with the team to elevate overall technical capabilities.

 

What You Bring

 

8-10 years of experience in distributed systems development using cloud-native tools and tech Strong background in Kubernetes, Docker, and Git Fluent programming ability using a programming language preferably Golang Experience developing end to end full-stack and backend applications, deployed on production Proficiency in at-least one UI technology (preferably UI5) and full-stack development Experience in using public cloud infrastructures like AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Experience in designing scalable, reusable services using microservices architecture Proficiency in messaging systems like Solace / Kafka / RabbitMQ. Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins Expertise and mindset to serve, support and solve customer tickets Work together with DevOps and SRE team to ensure product availability Strong sense if ownership mindset throughout the development lifecycle Proficiency in PostgreSQL and exposure to AI/ML concepts is a plus A proactive attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality solution
