As a Software Developer on the LoadRunner team at OpenText, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance, scalable software solutions. Your expertise in C++ and .NET Core will contribute to building innovative products that drive enterprise performance testing forward. By collaborating with global teams and leveraging the latest technologies, you’ll help shape the future of performance engineering.

 

What the role offers

 

Full development lifecycle ownership – from assessment and design to implementation and testing.Solve complex technical challenges and develop robust, scalable software.Guide the translation of requirements into actionable development plans with precise estimations.Develop and enhance new and existing products using C++ and .NET Core.Work closely with global R&D and non-R&D teams, ensuring smooth collaboration.Maintain high execution standards, delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions.

 

What you need to succeed

 

4+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in C++.Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, multi-threading, and design patterns.Experience with HTTP(S), WebSocket, Web Services, GRPC, Protobuf, and Kafka.Troubleshooting skills using tools like Wireshark, WinDbg, and ProcMon (nice to have).Familiarity with Linux (nice to have).Experience working in Agile development environments (Scrum or Kanban).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with adaptability to new technologies.Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a growth mindset.Experience with test-driven development and frameworks like JUnit and Selenium.Strong ability to manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
