Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to lead and advance our organization's DevOps capabilities. In this role, you will assess, design, and implement scalable, reliable DevOps frameworks and solutions that enhance collaboration and streamline processes across delivery, tools, and infrastructure teams. As a subject matter expert, you will play a pivotal role in driving DevOps maturity and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate application teams' DevOps journeys and propose tailored solutions to advance their DevOps maturity.
• Collaborate with application, delivery, tools, and infrastructure teams to identify and overcome barriers to DevOps adoption.
• Engineer and automate scalable, reliable DevOps frameworks for seamless customer adoption.
• Design, develop, and promote self-service platform services and accelerators to enhance DevOps platform capabilities.
• Conduct evaluations and Proof of Concepts (POCs) for emerging tools and technologies.
• Provide DevOps consulting and subject matter expertise (SME) to application and delivery teams.
• Establish, maintain, and refine DevOps best practices and standards.
• Offer troubleshooting and incident management support for DevOps platform services.
• Actively participate in and contribute to the DevOps Community of Practice.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Requirements Must Haves:

• 6-10 years of DevSecOps engineering experience in an Agile (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) environment.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy, Shell, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Bash, or YAML.
• Hands-on experience with contemporary DevSecOps tools, including Jenkins, Git, GitHub Enterprise, Ansible, Docker, Terraform, and Splunk.
• Strong communication and influencing skills to articulate DevOps processes to customers and management effectively.
• A team player with the ability to mentor and guide peers and junior team members.


Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a technical lead with an automation and engineering mindset.
• In-depth knowledge of industry trends, IT operations, and best practices, with the ability to identify and implement relevant innovations.
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, and AppDynamics.
• Knowledge of IT Security and Compliance practices.
