Senior Devops Engineer

About the role


ClearScale's Systems team is growing rapidly and looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to help us to effectively and successfully run a migration project out of Aptible centers onto the AWS platform.


Job Responsibilities


AWS Infrastructure Automation with IaC (mostly Terraform) Applications Containerization (Docker) Automation for applications deployment in ECS, Kubernetes CI and CD pipelines development (Jenkins, GitlabCI, Github Actions, AWS CodePipeline) Communications with customers in English (emails, slack chat, work sessions) Project Documentation (Diagrams, Architecture Design, Instructions, Handover documents)


Required skills and experience


3+ years of experience with all aspects of DevOps (source control, continuous integration, deployments, etc.)  Experience with creation and implementation of AWS cloud infrastructure 3+ years with Linux OS administration and troubleshooting  Expertise with key AWS services: AWS EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, Systems Manager Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL - administration, migration experience Automation experience: Terraform, Ansible Orchestration: Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD CI/CD: Jenkins, Github Actions, GitlabCI, AWS CodePipeline Scripting: bash, python and other programming skills High level of English (C1-C2) oral and written is a must


Would be an advantage

Experience working on Lead engineer roles Windows OS administration and troubleshooting Expertise with Code (Build/Deploy/Pipeline)
