What Will You Do:Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and ship the systems and infrastructure that power our applications.Provide reliable, robust, and fast CI/CD pipelinesPropose new technologies or approaches that can improve our infrastructureCreate tooling to improve the developer experienceDevelop and test disaster recovery scenariosContinuously monitor and improve our infrastructure for performance, stability, scalability, and securityBuild automation systems following code pattern best practicesWorking closely with developers to improve developer workflowsBuild and improve automation for building new environmentsImplement security best practices, from OS-level patches to internal processes.Participate in the on-call engineering rotation. What Do We want:Required Skills:Strong experience in a software engineering or DevOps roleDemonstrated background in supporting high-availability systems on AWSExperience building or supporting services in a service-oriented architecture.Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g. CloudFormation, Terraform, helm, etc).Experience creating and managing a CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, Github Actions)Hands-on experience at least in one scripting language Java, Python or Golang.Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies.Fluent in understanding and applying common security principlesExperience with test automationExpert-level proficiency with version control (Git) Desired Criteria:Experience building large-scale data processing systems and data warehousing solutionsFamiliarity with one or more big-data technologies such as Hbase, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, etc.Working knowledge of at least 1 public cloud hosting provider (AWS (preferred), Google Cloud, Azure or similar)
