DevOps Engineers are team members of an agile development process. They are responsible for the design and implementation of applications’ build, release, deployment, and configuration activities. Other responsibilities include working with internal IT team members to monitor performance of applications, assist with automated and manual test designs, drive quality controls in applications, and maintain the health and security of the application deployment environments. DevOps Engineers must be able to adjust to constant business change; common types of changes include new requirements, evolving goals and strategies, and emerging technologies.

Essential Duties:
\n\nWork collaboratively with project teams and infrastructure teams to facilitate automated deployments of both applications and the underlying infrastructure\nBuild, deploy, and maintain automation tools and scripts to perform automated deployments\nAzure DevOps administration\nManage application security and governance, ensure implementation follows standards\nManage application monitoring and alerting\nTriage and fix operation issues that occur\nStay current with technology trends - focusing on cloud and automation\nInvolved in Level I on-call support\nOther duties as assigned\n\n\n
Qualifications:
\n\nMaster’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or 7+ years of equivalent experience\nExperience with scripting languages: PowerShell, Ruby, Python, JavaScript (PowerShell preferred)\nExperience with Microsoft Azure across PaaS and IaaS resource types\nExperience with automation/configuration management using Azure DevOps or an equivalent\nAbility to use a wide variety of technologies and cloud services; experience with Microsoft Azure\nA working understanding of the following:\n\nWindows Server administration\nVirtual networking\nWeb development (JavaScript, C#, HTML)\nDatabase development (SQL Server, Oracle)\nVirtualization platforms\nAgile\nSource control systems (TFS, Git, VSTS)\nEnterprise backup and recovery solutions\nDisaster recovery\n\n\nCorporate Summary:
