Seeking a highly motivated Senior Dev Ops Engineer with a strong background in full-stack web development, advanced DevOps skills, and has a passion for problem-solving to join our innovative team of engineers. 

 

Responsibilities:  

 

Automate and optimize various tools and applications under RingCentral’s suite of tools that are expected to improve its cloud-based communication and collaboration business. 

Improve deployment of existing applications using containerization technologies  

Set up, maintain, and monitor application instances 

Continuously innovate, study, and apply relevant trends to new and current applications 

Propose policies, guidelines, and processes that promote good software engineering practices and improve the team’s productivity 

Create and maintain application and process documentations 

Share knowledge and skills to others 

Communicate with internal customers in different RingCentral offices worldwide 

 

Requirements: 

At least 3 years of experience as a software development with 1-2 years of experience in using Kubernetes 

Desire and passion for innovation, working on new products and ideas to create proof of concept solutions for continuous improvement 

Assertiveness and proactivity in problem-solving and coming up with new ideas 

Excellent work ethic and ability to work & collaborate with an agile team 

Good communication, requirement analysis, and documentation skills 

Attention to details 

DevOps experience 

Kubernetes, Docker 

Git CI/CD 

Vagrant 

Ansible 

 

Web development experience 

Python, Django, Javascript, JQuery SQL - MariaDB, MySQL Object-oriented programming Linux system administration skills Great to have experiences on the following: Big Data like Elasticsearch and Kibana is a big plus! Working in Scrum team Capability and willingness to be on-call
