Our DevOps team excels in designing and implementing product-specific continuous integration (CI) pipelines, along with providing a range of CI-related services to support R&D teams working on network management products, within the context of a large virtualized/containerized software system. Additionally, the DevOps team offers guidance and assistance to other R&D teams on CI-related matters.

 

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.  10+ years of experience in DevOps or related fields, including experience in cloud-native software development.  Proven track record and expertise in DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and infrastructure as code (including tools like Git/Gerrit, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, Docker, Grafana).  In-depth knowledge and understanding of cloud technologies and platforms, particularly Kubernetes and OpenStack.  Development skills primarily in Python & Shell Scripting with a focus on maintaining high test coverage. Proficiency in other programming languages is advantageous.  Strong problem-solving skills, with demonstrated experience working with Linux OS and related tools.  Hands-on experience with VMWare technologies.  Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.  Experience in architecting solutions and designing scalable infrastructure.  Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.  Excellent communication skills, and ability to create presentations and effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences. 
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize backlog items, and drive project delivery.  Monitoring and optimizing system performance, reliability, and scalability, and plan improvements accordingly.  Troubleshooting and resolving cloud infrastructure issues in a timely manner.  Implement high-quality software and clean code using cloud-native methods and tools.  Develop and deliver presentations to communicate technical concepts and solutions to stakeholders. Identify improvement opportunities for R&D efficiency and drive them with different stakeholders to improve productivity Shares ideas for professional direction of DevOps activities. May act as leader for an MS DevOps, co-ordinating and allocating work, coaching and providing on-the-job training to other team members, making recommendations in their formal performance assessment.  Manages new software versions releases based on scrum or agile release cycle to meet customer requirements.
