About the Role

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Platform – Cloud Team.
The group responsible for designing, building, and evolving the data, application, and infrastructure platform that powers everything from day-to-day development to production-grade AI workloads at scale.

In this role, you’ll design and implement cloud infrastructure that supports 10x customer growth alongside a rapidly expanding engineering organization. You’ll define platform engineering standards and lead cross-functional efforts to improve developer experience, scalability, system reliability, and security.
You’ll also play a key role in mentoring engineers, shaping engineering culture, and scaling platform capabilities across teams and environments.

This is a strategic position - ideal for someone excited about building platform-as-a-product solutions, balancing short-term needs with a long-term infrastructure vision, and collaborating across the company to enable high-velocity engineering.

What You’ll Do

Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure platforms in AWS and/or multi-cloud environments.

Drive the architecture and roadmap for cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes-based platforms, and developer tooling across the org.

Build and evolve internal developer platforms (IDPs) to abstract infrastructure complexity and promote autonomy, safety, and velocity for product teams.

Define and enforce best practices for infrastructure, CI/CD, security, and observability, ensuring consistency and compliance at scale.

Act as a technical mentor and thought leader, supporting and leveling up DevOps and backend engineers across the R&D organization.

Collaborate with Engineering, Data, and Security teams on cross-cutting initiatives, such as cloud governance, policy automation, zero-trust networking, and FinOps.

Drive incident management and postmortem processes; lead efforts to harden infrastructure and reduce MTTR.

Standardize and manage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Crossplane, or Pulumi) across environments.

Champion SRE and DevSecOps principles, introducing automation, guardrails, and developer-first tooling wherever possible.

Evaluate and implement emerging technologies and practices to improve platform capabilities, resilience, and cost efficiency.

About You

5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles, preferably in a high-scale cloud-native environment.

Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure design and AWS core services (multi-cloud experience a plus).

Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including managing clusters, operators, and workload orchestration at scale.

Expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools and methodologies (Terraform, Terragrunt, Crossplane, etc.).

Solid programming/scripting ability in languages such as Python, Go, JS and so.

Passion for building high-impact tooling, improving developer workflows, and enabling teams through “Platformic” Solutions such as IDP/Self-Services.

Familiarity with modern observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenSearch).

Excellent communicator with a proven ability to work cross-functionally, influence decisions, and drive org-wide adoption of platform solutions.

Experience mentoring engineers and collaborating on long-term technical direction.

B.Sc in Computer Science or related field – an advantage.

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Hybrid Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so we require employees to work three days a week in the office and two days at home. This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together.
