When you join a GoTo product team, you’ll take on a key role in this process and see your work be used by millions of users worldwide. ** ** **Your Day to Day ** **As a Senior DevOps Engineer - Database, you w** **ill** : + Design, build,implement, and support automationsof our mission-critical persistent storage technologies (Postgres, Oracle, MySQL, Kafka, and more) + Administera highly availablePostgres-on-Kubernetes database infrastructure and its associated automations as a member of our DevOps Data Infrastructure team + Program utility scripts, create CI/CD pipelines, and create/administer monitoring probes as required to ensure systems are well-maintained and highly available + Design and implement software to automate, monitor, simplify, or secure common data-related developer workflows; architect data stores and systems to facilitate building microservices that depend on them + Follow a DevOps model: all teams, including product developers, are on call for their own services. Our team has a follow-the-sun, 12-hour on call schedule shared amongst the team ** ** **What** **We’re** **Looking For** **As a** **Senior DevOps Database Developer** **, your background** **will look like:** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline, or 5+ Years of equivalent professional experience + 2+ yearsadministering Postgres and Oracle in AWS and OCI + 2+ years Python coding + 2+ years Bash Scripting + 2+ years administering Postgres on Kubernetes + 2+ years provisioning and configuring with Ansibleand Terraform + 2+ years deploying RDBMS solutions to AWS or OCI + 5+ years administering Postgres(on virtual machines or Kubernetes) + 5+ years desired with Oracle RAC + 2+ years desiredwithone or more open-source non-relational data stores, such as Cassandra, Kafka,and|or Redis   You’ll be working towards a shared goal with an open-minded and cohesive team greater than the sum of its parts.
