Senior DevOps Engineer Opportunity – Tampa Bay, FL

An innovative software company is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. Based in Tampa Bay, this role focuses on optimizing and enhancing CI/CD pipelines and AWS-based deployments. Work with advanced technologies such as EKS for AWS, RKE2 clusters, and air-gap deployments while driving innovation in mission-critical platforms. This is a full-time, onsite position offering exciting challenges and opportunities for professional growth. TS/SCI is preferred, but not a requirement.

Required Skills & Experience

Extensive experience in AWS DevOps Engineering, including IL2, IL5, and IL6 architecture. Expertise in deploying EKS clusters and containerizing with Docker. Proven ability to build CI/CD pipelines with tools like Ansible, Helm, and Jenkins. Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code tools. Familiarity with GitLab, GitOps, and automated deployments. Leadership and mentorship experience.

Desired Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Relevant technical certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect). Scripting experience in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
