In this role, you will manage our AWS environment using infrastructure as code, evangelize best practices, promote the latest in security and observability practices throughout our processes, and help design, create, and maintain CI/CD automation processes. We want someone who loves to learn new skills, thinks outside the box, and wants to implement cutting-edge solutions. In this role, you will provide support for our cloud operations during Eastern US work hours from 3pm to 11pm Eastern European Time.        What You’ll Do:     Manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and GitHub ActionsDevelop and maintain automation and test tools for client applicationsEngineer and automate CI/CD processes from source control management systems to drive continuous delivery of our consumer applicationsCollaborate with IT/SEC/Platform operations to maintain continuous availability and security of internal systems and support users of these systems across Dev, QA, Product Management, and Support teamsUpdate documentation and runbooks as needed as processes changeExplore new technologies and opportunities through conceptual testingContinue growing technical skills through continued education with training and certificationsParticipate in periodic on-call rotation to support our production systemsSupport our cloud operations during US work hours (3pm-11pm Eastern European Time)

 

Skills You’ll Need to Have:         BA/BS Degree in an Engineering or Computer Science related discipline, or an equivalent combination of cloud certifications and experience4 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Administration with AWS technologies including EC2, ECS, ECR, and CloudWatch. EKS and CloudFront are a plusStrong familiarity with managing infrastructure as code using Terraform and GitHubStrong development ability with a proven record of automating complex processesStrong experience using either Jenkins, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions pipelines as codeFamiliarity with code compilation, code signing, and CI/CD lifecyclesLinux system administration and container management (Docker) experience is required. Windows Server and Windows container administration are a plusAnalytical thinking with the ability to identify, design, and implement solutions for performance and cost-saving opportunities
