Job Description
We are currently looking to extend our team dedicated to creating and maintaining our highly available platform to support mission-critical emergency call handling NG911 systems.. By leveraging virtualization, advanced automation, and a robust stack of technologies, we aim to deliver a seamless, scalable, and self-service infrastructure solution that accelerates business innovation.
We are looking at different types of individuals. If you have experience in Platform Architect, Automation Engineer, Kubernetes Specialist, Elastic Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer and Network Security Engineer and you feel like creating technology that serves as a lifeline for first responders is a noble and vital endeavor, you are ready to answer the call.
Basic Requirements
Technical skills - must have:
Strong understanding of Linux operating systems (RHEL preferred).
Experience with virtualization technologies (e,g PROXMOX, VMware ESXi, KVM).
Experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g.Bash, Python, Ruby).
Familiarity with automation of infrastructure and application deployments (e.g.Ansible, Terraform).
Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Understanding of networking concepts and principles and security best practices
Technical skills - good to have:
Knowledge of database management systems (e.g. PostgreSQL, MS SQL).
Familiarity with message queues (e.g.RabbitMQ).
Knowledge of log management and analytics tools (e.g.Elastic Stack, Prometheus).
Understanding of backup and disaster recovery strategies.
Familiarity with configuration management and version control systems.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role.Hands-on experience with the technologies mentioned above.Experience with large enterprise IT systems Experience with highly available, zero-downtime platformsProven experience in ‘automate everything’ organizationsSoft skills:
