CGI is looking for a Senior DevOps Specialist to lead the integration of DevOps practices into Our client’s multi-account AWS strategy. As a Senior DevOps Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines that support the deployment of APIs and cloud solutions across multiple AWS accounts. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that Our client’s cloud environment is agile, secure, and scalable, supporting the organization’s digital transformation goals.

You are a DevOps expert with a deep understanding of cloud-native technologies and automation. You have a proven track record of implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in large-scale environments, and you are passionate about driving efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement. You excel at collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality software at scale.
• CI/CD Pipeline Design: Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines that support the automated deployment, testing, and monitoring of APIs and cloud solutions across Our client’s multi-account AWS environment.
• Automation and Infrastructure as Code: Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud resources, ensuring consistency and scalability.
• Security Integration: Collaborate with security Engineers to integrate security best practices into the DevOps pipeline, ensuring that all deployments are secure and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize the CI/CD pipeline to improve deployment speed, reliability, and scalability, reducing the time to market for new features and enhancements.
• Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams on DevOps best practices, tools, and technologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Well verse and hands on with the Modern cloud native deployment strategies.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and container technologies (Docker)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in DevOps, with a focus on cloud environments, particularly AWS.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, and Docker.
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker, and ECS.
• Experience in automating infrastructure and application deployments using IaC tools.
• DevOps (Expert Level Operational Knowledge) - AWS Code Build, AWS CloudFormation
Considered strong assets:
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification.
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, ELK Stack, and AWS CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of microservices Architecture and Cloud-native application development.
