What to expect:

Work through all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance.Write clean code and apply industry best practicesReview designs, code, unit test and technical documentation created by other engineers.Analyze problems, develop and propose solutionsPrepare and study the technical feasibility and estimates of the proposed systems solutions.Work collaboratively with other team members and provide guidance to more junior squad members.Provide timing/scheduling estimates to product owner and propose corrective actions to time lines when necessaryOrganize an efficient handover through high quality documentation and training.

  

What will make you successful?

Minimum 6 years of software development experience in an (preferably) international setting.Familiarity or experience with data ingestion with big data technologies (Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana and kafka).Familiarity or experience with CICD development & deployment tools such as Ansible, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Git, and Docker.Exposure to Linux OS platforms.Experience in one of the programming languages (Java or Python) and have good understanding of OOPFamiliarity or experience with SOA technologies such as micro-services, REST, SOAP is a plus.Experience in NoSQL Databases.Working Experience in API benchmarking with tools such as JMeter, PostmanPractical working experience in an Agile driven team.Strong interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity.Demonstrated ability to collaborate with local and remote teams in different time zones.
