Are you a DevSecOps engineer with at least 10 years of experience supporting software development tools and pipeline development? Do you want to be part of a team that is helping the government solve major national security challenges in the space domain? We need your help.

Our team is looking for an experienced DevSecOps engineer that has designed, implemented, and maintained DevSecOps solutions in support of enterprise software development and delivery. This position supports delivering capabilities to the space community through the development and support of robust DevSecOps tooling, pipelines, and containerized deployments. In this position, you will be a member of a growing Agile team supporting the development of critical mission applications for the space community as a member of Parsons’ Space Operations Directorate. You will work with software engineers and space analysts to create space situational awareness solutions for the space domain stakeholder community.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with at least 10 years of technical experience; relevant experience may be accepted in place of a degreeExperience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodologyAbility to support and troubleshoot issues on common Operating Systems (e.g., MacOS, Windows, Linux)In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes operations, administration, and deployment of one or more distributions including AWS EKS, Rancher, Open Shift, Google GKEExperience designing and implementing DevSecOps pipelines using common DevOps tools (e.g., Gitlab, Nexus, Artifactory, Harbor, Jenkins, SonarQube, Docker, Fortify)Experience deploying and maintaining containerized applications in a Kubernetes environment using HelmExperience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to include services such as VPC, EC2, EKS, IAM, S3, Lambda, CloudWatchExperience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell)Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment, and take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quicklyExcellent interpersonal and communication skills in both spoken and written EnglishMust be a US Citizen

Salary Range: 

$117,000.00 - $210,600.00
