KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Digital Accessibility Specialist to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This is a remote work opportunity.

Responsibilities:Develop and implement a comprehensive digital accessibility strategy aligned with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 (WCAG 2.2) and other relevant standardsCollaborate heavily with the User Experience and the Digital Enablement teams to support an accessible as possible of digital experiences for people of all levels of ability Conduct thorough accessibility audits of websites, web applications, and mobile apps using industry-standard tools and techniquesIdentify accessibility issues, prioritize remediation efforts, and develop detailed remediation plans in collaboration with development teamsProvide training and education to employees on accessibility best practices, standards, and tools; work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accessibility is integrated into the entire product development lifecycleKeep informed with the latest accessibility regulations and standards, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and guidelines; advocate for accessibility within the organization and promote a culture of accessibilityQualifications:Minimum five years of recent experience in digital accessibility, including experience with WCAG 2.2 and other accessibility standardsBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; certifications in Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) or Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) are preferredProven track record of conducting comprehensive accessibility audits and remediation strategies for large-scale enterprise platforms; experience with User Experience (UX) and UI design methodologies and best-practicesStrong understanding of HyperText Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and JavaScript; ability to identify and fix accessibility issues in codeExperience with accessibility testing tools such as Job Access With Speech (JAWS), NonVisual Desktop Access (NVDA), VoiceOver, and automated testing toolsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams; ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise language for non-technical audiencesMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa
