Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for R&D Engineers with Industry Domain Expertise to conceptualize, define and build Industry Specific Digital Solutions in our Process Automation Digital Organization. The candidate will be required to identify, document, create boundary condition definitions and articulate the business value proposition for such solutions. Collaborate effectively with different business units within the organization to collate the knowledge and customer expectations for evaluation and consideration for solution development. Conceptualize digital solutions and develop working prototypes for evaluation and customer demonstration. Develop scenarios for application of Machine Learning / AI with the cross-functional data and developing base algorithm for different scenarios. Working with the customer teams for developing consultative focused solutionsThe work model for the role is : #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to Process Automation business for Process Automation Digital division based in Bangalore, IndiaYou will be mainly accountable for below:Conceptualize designs for value engineering scenarios to incorporate in digital transformation solutions in the Petrochemical.Work closely with Customers and Business Units to architect and develop customer centric solutions tailored to their requirements.Agile development of digital solution ‘Proof of Concepts’ to effectively articulate the Customer Value PropositionProvide industry specific domain insights for rich proposal responses by articulating customer value propositionCreate Functional Specifications for innovative Digital SolutionDevelop Base models together with their initial validation. Agile development of customer centric prototypes / ‘Proof of Concepts’ for focused digital solutions

Qualifications for the role

Education - M. Tech / B. Tech Chemical 5-10 years of overall work experience with significant portion in the Chemical/Petrochemical DomainPrimary experience in Chemical or Petrochemical like cement, paint, specialty chemicals, paper process engineering and /or technology and /or R&D skills.Plant operations and maintenance, Hands on exposure to safety, environment aspects, Sustainability, GRI reporting etc. Asset and process performance monitoring and optimization, MIS reportingDeep and broad technical experience in at least one of relevant (chemical) technologies. Expertise in Petrochemical Operations, process optimization and investigation in process related failures, Dynamic process simulation, energy efficiency, Process performance analysis, risk assessment and efficiency / performance assessment of critical process equipment (column, heater, kiln, reactor, pump etc.)Experience in process design is considered an added advantage.Understanding of Industrial Analytics and Enterprise Digital transformation solutions
