Job Overview
The Senior Digital Solutions Developer will be responsible for developing and deploying custom applications using Azure, Power Apps, and other low-code/no-code platforms. This role will require expertise in application monitoring, performance optimization, and secure-by-design best practices to ensure that applications are scalable, reliable, and compliant with security standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business and IT teams to deliver solutions that drive efficiency, innovation, and business value.
Key Job Responsibilities
Application Development and Deployment:
+ Design, build, and deploy custom applications on the Azure platform, Power Apps, and low-code/no-code solutions based on business requirements.
+ Develop and implement applications with a focus on usability, scalability, and performance optimization.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Application Monitoring and Performance Optimization:
+ Implement application monitoring and logging solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and quick incident response.
+ Use Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and other monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
+ Continuously optimize applications for improved performance, scalability, and user experience.
Secure by Design Practices:
+ Apply secure-by-design principles to develop applications that meet or exceed security standards, focusing on data protection, authentication, and access control.
+ Collaborate with IT security to integrate security policies and best practices into the development lifecycle, ensuring that applications remain compliant with corporate standards.
Technical Collaboration and Troubleshooting:
+ Work closely with data engineers, architects, and IT teams to integrate applications with data sources and other systems.
+ Provide support for troubleshooting complex technical issues, implementing root cause analysis, and recommending solutions to prevent future issues.
+ Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the development team.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
+ Stay current with advancements in Azure services, Power Apps, and low-code/no-code technologies, evaluating and recommending new tools and approaches for development.
+ Develop reusable components, templates, and best practices for efficient and consistent application delivery.
+ Act as a mentor and resource for junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Qualifications/Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Azure or low-code/no-code platforms are a plus.
+ 5+ years of experience in application development, with at least 3 years working with Azure services, Power Apps, and low-code/no-code platforms.
+ Proven track record of developing, deploying, and optimizing applications with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
+ Proficiency in Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and API Management.
+ Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and low-code/no-code development platforms.
+ Familiarity with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights) and performance optimization techniques.
+ Strong understanding of secure coding practices, data protection, and application lifecycle management.
+ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
+ Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
+ Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Hiring Range
At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $80,000-$102,000. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
