Job Description:
Primary Purpose of Role:
As the Manager of Digital Transformation and Analytics within our Global Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the digital transformation and data analytics initiatives that enable our organization to enhance productivity, efficiency, and competitiveness. You will be responsible for leveraging advanced technologies and analytics to optimize our manufacturing processes and continuous improvement efforts on a global scale. This position will oversee a Data Analytics team located both in our Indianapolis, Indiana and Chennai, India offices.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Digital Transformation: Lead the digital transformation efforts in manufacturing operations, identifying opportunities for automation, process optimization, and enhanced data utilization.
+ Power Platform Expertise: Utilize the Power Platform to design, develop, and deploy custom applications, dashboards, and workflows to improve manufacturing processes and data-driven decision-making.
+ Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for continuous improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency in manufacturing operations.
+ Data Analysis Leadership: Extract, transform, and analyze data to gain actionable insights, providing recommendations for process enhancements and performance optimization.
+ Project Management: Lead projects related to digital innovation, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget, while also monitoring the impact on operations.
+ Training and Support: Provide training and support to manufacturing teams to ensure the successful adoption of digital solutions and Power Platform tools.
+ Compliance and Security: Maintain compliance with data security standards and industry regulations, ensuring the integrity of data and processes.
+ Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for developed solutions, processes, and best practices.
+ Technology Integration: Use technology to enhance and support communication, critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity to propel manufacturing.
+ Data Governance: Oversee a set of policies, processes, and tools that help operations manage their data assets.
+ Performance Metrics: Make visible measurable data that is used to track manufacturing processes at Allison using activities, employee behavior and productivity as key metrics.
+ Change Management: Lead in navigating transitions by planning, communicating, and executing digital changes at ATI.
+ Research and Innovation: To stay current / cutting edge on new digital technologies and innovations that will help ATI in manufacturing commercial heavy duty transmissions.

+ Achievement of Digital Transformation Goals: Meeting or exceeding the key objectives set in the digital transformation strategy, such as improved productivity, cost reduction, increased operational efficiency, and enhanced product quality.
+ ROI and Cost Savings: Demonstrating a positive return on investment for digital initiatives and consistently identifying opportunities for cost savings through process optimization and technology adoption.
+ Quality Improvement: Measuring improvements in product quality and consistency by tracking metrics such as defect rates, customer complaints, and warranty claims.
+ Manufacturing Efficiency: Increasing manufacturing efficiency by optimizing processes, reducing downtime, and improving overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
+ Data Utilization: Maximizing the utilization of data and analytics by implementing data-driven decision-making processes and leveraging data for predictive maintenance and operational insights.
+ Reduction in Waste: Implementing continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste, minimize defects, and improve process efficiency, resulting in tangible reductions in waste and improved sustainability.
+ Project Delivery: Ensuring that digital transformation projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet their defined goals and milestones.
+ KPI Tracking: Regularly monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing and continuous improvement, and demonstrating consistent progress and improvements.
+ Employee Engagement: Measuring employee engagement and satisfaction within the manufacturing teams, indicating successful change management and a positive workplace culture.
+ Compliance and Data Security: Maintaining a high level of data security and compliance with industry regulations and standards.
+ Stakeholder Satisfaction: Earning positive feedback and support from key stakeholders, including executive leadership, manufacturing teams, and technology vendors.
+ Innovation and Adaptation: Demonstrating a commitment to staying current with emerging technologies and successfully integrating them into manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
+ Certifications in relevant areas such as Six Sigma, PMP, or Data Science are advantageous.
+ Microsoft Power Platform certifications preferred
Experience:
+ 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations
+ 5 + years of experience manufacturing continuous improvement
+ 5+ years of experience in digital transformation, data, and analytics in a manufacturing setting
+ 5+ years of supervisory / management experience
