Senior Digital Workplace Engineer
**What's The Role** The Senior Digital Workplace Engineer reporting to the IT Digital Workplace Supervisor, is an individual contributor responsible for focus is on Microsoft technologies and implementations in enterprise environments, communication and collaboration systems, and workplace services including desktop solutions, collaboration technologies, upgrades, migrations and evergreen scenarios and enablement of secure remote working environments. **What You'll Do** + Deep understanding and experience in Microsoft 365 environments including implementation of Exchange, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and SharePoint + Deep understanding and experience in Active Directory / Azure Active Directory. + Strong experience working with automation tools such as PowerShell, and various scripting tools. + Solid understanding of Active Directory (group policy management, Sites and Services, Users and Groups) + Delivery of successful O365 Tenant to Tenant migrations. + Deep understanding migration tools from Sharegate and BitTitan experience a plus + Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, emerging trends and related technology + Able to articulate pros & cons of design/architecture decision across a wide spectrum of factors - e.g., latency, storage, startup/shutdown, network, end user experience, etc. + Knowledge of IT Security and compliance. + Knowledge of Networking fundamentals. + Knowledge of Active Directory + Knowledge of Device Deployment + Provide guidance and recommendations for the definition of targets + Contribute to the digital workplace strategy, roadmap and technical definition + Understand and identify problems, analysing and helping to identify the appropriate solution + Collate data and provide basic reporting, build your knowledge base, document cases and conduct retrospectives to learn from incidents + Strong record of people management in a technical environment, including communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills + Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to form strong business relationships across all functions + Solid business planning experience, demonstrating a track record of success as a business leader and have the ability to collaborate with various departments to achieve mutual success + Timeliness in all actions with quality consciousness towards services received and provided + Extensive proven experience of project management techniques including planning, resource allocation, prioritization and escalation within an international telecom environment. + Strong vendor management experience.
