ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Director, Business Operations will serve as a strategic partner and operational leader, driving efficiency, financial planning, and vendor relationship management across the organization. This role requires a visionary approach to operational strategy, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and Technology leadership. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical acumen, business judgment, and problem-solving skills to enhance operational effectiveness, optimize costs, and execute high-impact initiatives that align with company objectives.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic & Financial Planning
Provide executive-level insights and leadership in financial planning, overseeing embedded OPEX & CAPEX budgets.Drive strategic budget forecasting, ensuring alignment with business objectives and cost optimization strategies.Identify and implement scalable process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and financial performance.Partner with senior leadership to establish long-term cost-saving initiatives and drive financial accountability across teams.Vendor & Contract Management
Develop and oversee vendor management strategies to maximize value, mitigate risks, and optimize spending.
Partner with the Global Sourcing department to evaluate, negotiate, and execute high-impact vendor agreements.
Lead vendor relationship management activities, including contract negotiations and business performance reviews.
Establish governance frameworks to monitor vendor performance, drive efficiencies, and strengthen partnerships.
Operational Process & Compliance
Design and implement strategic operational processes that align with business goals and regulatory compliance requirements.
Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Accounting teams to ensure adherence to internal policies and financial controls.
Work closely with Internal Audit and Technology teams to support governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives.
Lead the optimization and automation of contract management and reporting systems for accurate forecasting and resource planning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Executive Leadership
Serve as a key business partner to C-suite executives and senior stakeholders, providing data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
Lead high-visibility, cross-functional initiatives with Legal, Finance, Technology, and other departments to drive operational excellence.
Oversee and manage strategic projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and delivering measurable impact.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability across teams and stakeholders.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Experience in business operations, finance, vendor management, or a related strategic function.
Proven track record in leading large-scale operational initiatives and driving financial and operational efficiencies.
Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Expertise in strategic negotiation, vendor management, and contract evaluation at an enterprise level.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience leveraging data to drive decision-making.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Experience in the technology, media, or entertainment industry is preferred.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $185,500.00-200,000.00 annually for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $154,500.00-166,600.00 annually for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
