Senior Director, Business System Owner, Spectrum Enterprise

You take accountability to implement and manage a consistent methodology for the software development lifecycle, partner with all supporting teams that enable delivery and management of the software in our operations, and to ensure that all user groups have a productive, continuously improving experience in the platform within an office environment.


How you can make a difference:

Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.Serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical partners, and is responsible for clear communication across teams, while overseeing the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including standards and approach to documentation.Leads a team of Product Managers and Product owners who translate business needs into requirements and documentation that can be consumed by technical teams, partnering closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) in the operations and with design and architecture partners to document and then break solutions into a prioritized backlog of work that is ready for development.Responsible for developing a strategic vision and product roadmap aligned to business objectives and strategic imperatives.Responsible for using the vision and roadmap as a guide and a plan of execution, while evaluating change requests and grooming the system/product backlog.Leads a team that works closely with subject matter experts in their respective domains on the development or enhancement of new or existing functionality, and that effectively document, refine, prioritize and manage user stories and other documentation to enable development.Facilitates and supports the communication between business partners and development/test teams to strengthen a shared understanding and make the development process more efficient, including working with stakeholders and team members to resolve conflict or clarify misunderstanding, and driving requirements and issues to resolution.Responsible for validating that finished technical solutions meet the defined business needs, in partnership with business partners and SMEs.Serves as subject matter expert on both process and technical implementation details (particularly process optimization and system interactions).Establishes and maintain strong relationships across the organization to support successful delivery.

What you bring to Spectrum Enterprise


Required qualifications:

Experience: 7+ years of commercial/B2B operations experience, 7+ years of leadership and people management experience, 5+ years of telecom implementation and operations experience, and 5+ years of experience with systems/product development, ownership, or management
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Technical skills: Familiarity with iterative software development principles, familiarity with the software development lifecycle, experience with software product management, demonstrated analytical skills, expert in analyzing and interpreting data and synthesizing recommendations.
Skills: General business and technical acumen - be able to communicate effectively and understand software development concepts, demonstrated documentation skills and keen attention to detail, track record of effectively managing multiple projects while making decisions and resolving issues and working under pressure, business acumen and sense of urgency to achieve business results, and effective written and communication skills with all levels of an organization.


Preferred qualifications:

Knowledge of Pega Systems or similar workflow management software

The base pay for this position generally is between $141,300.00 and $275,800.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
