Senior Director, Client Partnerships, CPG

Ibotta is seeking a Senior Director, Client Partnerships to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding.

This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States. Candidates living in Chicago, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, New York City, Newark/Jersey City, New Haven, or Balitmore may also be considered for remote work. Candidates must live in the United States.

What you will be doing:

Drive resolution of complex problems by bringing in others and leading process

Hire, coach and develop a team of seller’s to achieve their gross profit and professional growth goals

Delegate effectively and focus almost exclusively on strategy impacting the broader business

Beat annual revenue targets through the development, advancement, and closure of partnerships
and execution of new businesses and expansion of existing business

Develop and deliver sales presentations that educate prospective clients on Ibotta’s value
proposition, roadmap, and partnership opportunities

Execute and deliver on initiatives (commonly cross-functional) that provide business impact
beyond team's accounts

Work closely with other functional teams to ensure client partnerships are successfully executed
from start to finish

Develop and implement account strategy as needed

Travel up to 40%

What we are looking for: 

8-11+ years of experience in a data driven sales role

2-3 years of previous management experience required

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Technical Skills: G Suite, Looker

Experience selling digital, mobile, or media advertising solutions into verticals such as Retail or CPG preferred

Proven ability to sell into high-level leadership (including C-level) and to navigate potential
customer organizations to connect with the business owner/decision maker

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal (candidates do a mock pitch as part of the hiring process)

Excellent negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close the deal

Outstanding leadership abilities and proven success as a leader with a large or high-growth organization, ability to coach varying skill levels

Flexibility, accountability, and resourcefulness, to work with little direction in a fast-paced startup environment 

Ability to think and act like an entrepreneur, utilizing creative thinking to deliver value to your stakeholders

Additional Details:

This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, and 401k match. Denver office perks include paid parking, bagel Thursdays, snacks and occasional meals. 

Total compensation range: $200,000-$240,000. Equity is granted in addition to the overall compensation package. This range is inclusive of a base range and a variable bonus. Talk to your recruiter to learn more. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience.
