Job Description:

   

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Modern CPQ Solution Leader to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading the evaluation, selection, implementation, and ongoing optimization of our CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) platform. You will play a key role in streamlining our sales processes, improving sales efficiency, and accelerating revenue growth. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Lead the evaluation and selection of a modern CPQ platform, including: 

Conducting thorough market research and vendor analysis. 

Defining and documenting requirements and use cases. 

Leading proof-of-concept projects and evaluating solutions. 

Participating in RFP/RFI processes and vendor negotiations. 

Drive the successful implementation of the chosen CPQ platform, including: 

Project managing the implementation process, including data migration, user training, and go-live. 

Working closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance) to ensure a smooth transition. 

Configuring the CPQ platform to meet specific business needs and workflows. 

Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation. 

Optimize and enhance the CPQ platform, including: 

Continuously monitoring and analyzing platform performance and user adoption. 

Identifying and implementing process improvements and system enhancements. 

Providing ongoing training and support to sales teams. 

Staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging CPQ technologies. 

Drive data-driven decision making, including: 

Leveraging CPQ data to analyze sales trends, identify opportunities, and improve sales performance. 

Generating reports and dashboards to track key metrics and measure ROI. 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including: 

Building strong relationships with sales, marketing, IT, finance, and other stakeholders. 

Collaborating on product launches, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans. 

Qualifications: 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CPQ architecture, and end-to-end implementation and operations. 

Demonstrated success in leading and managing large-scale CPQ implementation projects, including program management, budgeting, and stakeholder management. 

Deep understanding of the Informatica platform suite, Salesforce, Oracle and other CPQ solutions and their capabilities, including custom built CPQ applications. 

Extensive experience in overseeing and executing all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. 

Proven experience in leading and managing teams responsible for developing customer applications using Java stack technologies, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines. 

Strong leadership and team management skills, managing in-house and SI resources. 

Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation and budget management 

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization. 

Experience leading enterprise-grade CPQ design, solutioning, and implementation. 

ITIL implementation experience. 

Education and Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 

15+ years of experience, including 5 years in a senior leadership role.

USD Annual Salary: $155,500.00 - $376,000.00
