Overview

The Emerging Technology Leader will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and implementing new technological advancements that align with the company’s strategic goals. This role requires a forward-thinking individual who can bridge the gap between technology and business, ensuring that our organization remains at the forefront of innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Research and Development: Continuously scan the technological market landscape to identify emerging trends and potential disruptions. Develop intel related to competitor products.

Innovation Management: Lead the technology innovation process from ideation to implementation, fostering a culture of creativity and experimentation. Build culture of innovation within the IT teams through Hackathons.

Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to evaluate new technologies that meet business goal.

Performance Monitoring: Track the performance and impact of implemented technologies, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Education and Enablement: Provide guidance and training to staff on new technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

Education: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: At least 10 years of experience in a technology leadership role, with a focus on emerging technologies.

Reporting Structure

The Emerging Technology Leader will report directly to the VP, Technology Strategy within the CTO organization

Salary/ Wage Range

$146,600.00 - $215,300.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
