**_Valvoline Global Operations Headquarters is located in Lexington, KY. We prefer local candidates willing to work an in-office work schedule (3-4 days per week). We're also open to candidates living in nearby markets (i.e. Louisville or Cincinnati), but willing to visit HQs weekly. We are offering relocation assistance for non-local candidates._**
**How You’ll Make An Impact**
The **Senior Director of Enterprise Program Execution** will be responsible for the end-to-end management of large-scale,cross-functional system implementations within the organization. This role will drive strategic initiatives, working closely with internal teams, external vendors, and key stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery and adoption of new system solutions. The Program Lead will be instrumental in aligning the implementation with organizational objectives, driving process efficiency, and ensuring a high-quality, on-time, and on-budget deployment. The initial focus for this individual will be on the global deployment of SAP S4 Finance and Supply Chain functionality across multiple regions and business units. The Senior Director is a leadership role overseeing the successful execution of initiatives and complex programs for our financial institution clients. This position is accountable for driving multiple projects, coordinating teams, establishing governance frameworks, and ensuring the achievement of clients' target outcomes at a strategic level.
In addition, this role will be responsible for the following:
+ Program Management: Lead and oversee all phases of the system implementation program, from initiation through go-live and post-deployment support, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.
+ Strategic Leadership: Drives the successful execution of clients' initiatives and complex programs across multiple projects and workstreams to achieve targeted outcomes. Acts as the primary lead in collaboration with clients’ Sponsor, PMO, or Transformation Office.
+ Program Management Oversight: Defines and implements effective tools, team structures, governance frameworks, and reporting processes. Coordinates closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan, develop scope, deliverables, resources, work plan, budget, and timing of new initiatives.
+ Performance Tracking and Reporting: Articulates the business value of portfolios and programs by establishing and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of projects. Presents business cases, technical roadmaps, risks, recommendations, project plans, budgets, and status reports to senior business leaders.
+ Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinates day-to-day delivery efforts with clients, and vendor stakeholder teams. Manages escalation, resolution, and reporting of high-priority issues. Recommends project prioritization strategies to achieve program goals effectively. Client Engagement and Growth: Develops, manages, and presents client budgets and project work plans. Partner with leadership to drive growth, methodology development, and cross-practice collaboration. Assists in the development and ongoing improvement of program management tools.
+ Team Management and Development: Coaches and manages other consultants while actively participating in Cornerstone’s performance development process.
+ Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, facilitating clear communication of project goals, status updates, and challenges.
+ Risk Management: Identify, assess, and proactively address risks to ensure minimal disruption, including.contingency planning and risk mitigation strategies.
+ Problem Solving/Analysis: Conducts comprehensive assessments of client initiatives, analyzing challenges across multiple projects and workstreams to identify root causes and interdependencies affecting program success. Utilizes strategic thinking to align program objectives with the broader goals of the financial institution clients. Create frameworks that integrate diverse methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) to tailor solutions effectively.
+ Employs Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and relevant metrics to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and make informed, data-driven decisions. Utilizes insights derived from performance tracking to adjust strategies and optimize program outcomes. Engages stakeholders at various levels within the company and clients’ organizations, leveraging exceptional communication and negotiation skills to drive consensus, resolve conflicts, and gain support for proposed solutions.
+ Promotes a culture of continuous improvement by proactively seeking feedback, assessing lessons learned, and refining methodologies/tools. Drives the development and enhancement of program management tools to ensure ongoing effectiveness in problem-solving and solution delivery.
+ Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and testing protocols to ensure system performance meets or exceeds business requirements.
+ Change Management: Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive change management and training plans to ensure smooth adoption and alignment with organizational objectives. Collaborates closely with project sponsors, senior business leaders, PMOs, Transformation Office, and cross-functional teams to align on program objectives, share information, and ensure clarity in project scope, deliverables, and timelines. Works with assigned project managers and consultants, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure alignment with program goals. Facilitates a cohesive work environment, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members. Engages in regular communication with clients, presenting business cases, project plans, budgets, and status reports. Acts as a key liaison between the company and clients, ensuring clear and transparent communication to address concerns and achieve mutual understanding.
**What You’ll Need**
+ Bachelor’s degree in business management, Finance, Project Management, or a relevant field.
+ 10+ years of project management experience.
+ 10+ years of strategic, cross-project coordination to ensure for effective use of corporate resources.
+ 10+ years of SAP Implementation experience. Experience with program/portfolio management, Business Transformation Office (BTO), Enterprise Project Management (EPMO)
+ Experience driving cross-functional projects including Supply Chain, Service, Information Technology, and Finance
+ Embodies the three virtues of an ideal team player: hungry, humble, and smart.
+ Proficiency in Agile, PMI, SAFe, Scrum, Waterfall, and PPM tools such as Clarity, MS Project, Planview, and Smartsheet. Strong working knowledge of change management principles
+ Ability to travel internationally to various regions for implementation rollouts
**What Will Set You Apart**
+ SAP S/4HANA global implementation experience within the manufacturing industry
+ SAP S/4HANA certification or related SAP certification preferred
+ PMP, PgMP, or other program management certifications
+ Experience with organizational change management (OCM) in an ERP context
