Senior Director, Federal Solutions

Responsibilities Include:

Ability to demonstrate past success of sales into the Federal government to include DoD, as well as civilian agencies.Solution and product capabilities to include a history of OEM sales success for hardware and/or software in a consultative manner preferably Voice, UC, Contact Center, IP-Optical switching, and routing.  Capable of providing references with end user customers as well as partners Strong technical aptitude for IT infrastructure and applications Develop and implement strategic account plans to increase revenue and retail programs within Federal accounts.Manage executive-level relationships with customers, Channel partners & distributor networks to maximize brand awareness and sales performance.Provide leadership to the sales teams through direction, coaching, and planning to increase the sales team's performance.Analyzing and evaluating changing market conditions and supporting management in developing short-term and long-term sales strategies and business objectives.Develop annual sales goals and strategic plans for key accounts, regions, and channels of distribution.Project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.Establish elevated levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the planning, forecasting, and budgeting process.Manage sales forecast and related expense budget.Coordinate with all cross-functional teams to execute plans and processes.Partner with the executive team to identify opportunities for sales process involvement.Facilitate successful implementation of current sales processes and programs.

Skills/Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years in a sales management position.Strong leadership, presentation, strategy development, communication, and influencing skills.Proven record of sales success including exceeding sales targets.Results driven, initiative-taking industry professional.Excellent communicator with both written and verbal skills.Apply principles and practices of budget preparation, administration, revenue forecasting, and analysis.Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.Security Clearance preferred.50% Travel required.
