The Senior Director, Finance Transformation will play a pivotal role in driving BeiGene's global finance transformation strategy. Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO), this role will lead initiatives to enhance financial systems, processes, reporting capabilities, and operational visibility. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in finance transformation, enterprise system implementations, and change management, combined with a hands-on approach to execution.
This leader will work closely with Finance, IT, and other functions to ensure alignment with BeiGene’s strategic goals and global growth. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Essential Functions of the job:
Collaborate with direct and cross-functional leadership to develop and execute a finance transformation roadmap aligned with BeiGene’s corporate objectives and global vision.
Together with Accounting and Finance leadership, key stakeholders and cross-functional teams, provide input and oversight to drive the redesign of key finance and accounting processes and implement financial systems and tools to enhance efficiency, scalability, flexibility, and visibility while meeting growing finance demands.
Partner with leadership to develop and execute a transformation roadmap for the legal entity forecast, including tech, processes and outcomes, and well as implementing a data output validation process
Supports the existing design and future improvements to the development and governance of a finance master data model to ensure consistency and accuracy across financial and operational systems and processes.
Ensure standardization and compliance of change initiatives to ensure organizational readiness and successful adoption of new systems and processes across global finance function, inclusive of driving the alignment, governance, and seamless execution of transformation initiatives.
Define and track key performance indicators to evaluate the success of transformation efforts and identify areas for continuous improvement.
Provide regular updates to senior leadership, including the Chief Accounting Officer, Treasurer, VP Tax and VP FP&A on progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
Computer Skills:
Strong expertise in optimizing financial systems such as TM1, SAP HANA ERP, SAP BPC, or similar tools.
Other Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
12+ years of experience in finance transformation, enterprise system enhancements, and process improvement.
Proven track record of leading large-scale change initiatives in a global environment.
Strong expertise in optimizing financial systems such as TM1, SAP HANA ERP, SAP BPC, or similar tools.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Experience working with global teams to achieve impactful outcomes.
Proven ability to manage complex projects and programs, ensuring deliverables, budgets, and timeline adherence.
