Job Description Summary:
The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Director of Global Design to lead the development of visual identity systems and end-to-end brand experiences for our global brands. This role is integral to ensuring that every touchpoint of our brands reflects the iconic and human-centric design philosophy that defines The Coca-Cola Company, enhancing consumer engagement and driving brand loyalty.
What You'll Do for Us:
Strategic Leadership:
o Develop and implement comprehensive design strategies that align with the global brand vision and business objectives.
o Collaborate closely with the Vice President of Global Design and other senior leadership to integrate visual identity systems and brand experiences into the broader design strategy.
Design Excellence:
o Lead the creation and execution of visual identity systems that are distinctive, sustainable, and instantly recognizable.
o Ensure the highest standards of design quality and craftsmanship across all brand touchpoints, upholding Coca-Cola’s commitment to iconic design.
o Champion a culture of uncompromising design integrity and attention to detail, setting the benchmark for design excellence within the organization.
o Implement and maintain rigorous design governance standards to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
o Master and leverage design software tools to enhance design processes and outputs.
Holistic Brand Experiences:
o Oversee the design of end-to-end brand experiences, from concept through execution, ensuring a cohesive and engaging consumer journey.
o Innovate in the creation of immersive brand experiences that seamlessly integrate physical and digital interactions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Partner with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure cohesive and consistent brand experiences across all touchpoints.
o Foster strong relationships with external design agencies and vendors to bring the brand vision to life.
Multi-Project Management:
o Demonstrate the ability to juggle multiple projects in parallel, ensuring all deadlines are met without compromising on quality.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in design, with a proven track record of developing visual identity systems and creating end-to-end brand experiences for global brands.
· Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading diverse and cross-functional teams.
· Design Expertise: Deep understanding of design principles, visual identity systems, and consumer behavior.
· Innovation: Demonstrated ability to leverage technology and innovation to enhance brand experiences.
· Design Excellence: Commitment to the highest standards of design quality and craftsmanship.
· Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
· Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
· Software Mastery: Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite andother relevant tools.
· Project Management: Proven ability to manage and execute multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring all are delivered on time and meet high-quality standards.
