We are the market leader in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of medical and aesthetic laser and light-based technologies. The Company’s technology enables physicians to provide advanced solutions for a broad range of medical-aesthetic application including hair removal, wrinkle reduction, tattoo removal, improving the skin’s appearance through the treatment of benign vascular and pigmented lesions, and the treatment of acne, leg veins, scarring and other common indications. Candela develops products for the global aesthetic market. These products begin as concepts developed by Candela’s world-class team of scientists and engineers or as acquired or licensed technologies that Candela then completes the development and/or commercialization of. These programs are supported by Candela’s global clinical, regulatory, and quality teams and are managed through our Product Development Process (PDP) and Quality Management System (QMS). The Company’s headquarters are in Marlborough, Massachusetts, U.S., with and additional R&D facility in Yokneam, Israel and commercial locations across Asia Pacific, and Europe. Products are sold direct in 18 countries worldwide and through distributors in over 60 others and are supported by field service, clinical education, marketing development organizations and distributorship arrangements. This position will report to theAVP, Global Demand Generation and Digital Marketingand will perform duties acting in the capacity of a coach and key contributor. Senior Director, Global Digital Marketing is accountable to create Candela’s global B2B marketing strategy – inclusive of social media channels, campaign deliverables, cultural market understanding, and adoption within the markets that Candela operates. As the function evolves, the position will enhance to include managerial oversight of direct reports. **Essential Job Responsibilities** + **Strategic Leadership:** + Develop and implement a holistic digital marketing strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives. + Oversee the execution of digital marketing campaigns across all key channels, including web, social media, email marketing, SEO, and PPC. + Lead a team of digital marketing professionals, providing direction, support, and mentorship. + **Web Management:** + Ensure the company’s corporate and translated websites are optimized for user experience, SEO, and lead generation. + Collaborate with web lead to implement updates and enhancements. + Oversee the monitoring of website performance metrics and use data to drive continuous improvement. + Develop and oversee execution of web content strategy. + **Social Media:** + Develop and execute a robust social media strategy for global and regional B2B and B2C channels, including social platforms in Asia, e.g., WeChat, Little Red Book, Weibo, Kakao etc. + Oversee content creation, scheduling, and community management to ensure brand consistency, engagement as well as achieving established KPIs + Utilize social media analytics to measure and report on the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly. + **Email Marketing:** + Oversee the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns aimed at lead generation, nurturing and driving conversions. + Ensure email marketing efforts are integrated with other digital channels and aligned with overall marketing goals. + Monitor and analyze email campaign performance, implementing A/B testing and other optimization techniques. + **Data Analytics and Reporting:** + Use data-driven insights to inform digital marketing strategies and tactics. + Create and present regular performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting key metrics and insights. + Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our digital marketing strategies innovative and effective. + **Collaboration and Cross-Functional Leadership:** + Work closely with the cross functional team including brand leads and sales leadership to align digital marketing efforts with revenue goals and lead generation initiatives. + Partner with other departments such as service, inside sales, service, and IT to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts. + Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture. **Knowledge/Educational Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus. + 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. + Proven track record in B2B marketing, with a solid understanding of B2C social media channels. + Extensive experience in developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies and global campaigns (Americas, APAC, EU regions). + Strong analytical skills with the ability to use and interpret data and generate actionable insights. + Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Marketo, social media monitoring, Salesforce, and management tools). + Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. + A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation. + Providesanalytical insights to the competitive environment – understands key business drivers. + Works effectively within a matrixed, global organization;demonstrated influencing, negotiation, critical thinking, and collaboration skill sets to drive decisions, and establish credibility. + Exhibits conceptual thinking capability to solve complex problems. + Ability to independently and simultaneously lead multiple projects, self-motivated and entrepreneurial with strong multi-tasking skills, organized and attentive to details. + Able to work in an environment where sharing responsibility for success and failure of others on the team is critical to the overall success of the company. + Conversant in the English language, verbal/written communication; exhibits excellent presentation, analytical and organizational skills.
