The Senior Director, Global Marketing for Leica Biosystems is responsible for leading company-wide commercial marketing for Leica Biosystems (LBS). This position shapes and executes the overall marketing strategy in partnership with the LBS Commercial team and Business Units. In this critical, high-impact role, you will be responsible for connecting marketing strategy to execution across functions including strategic planning, product development, customer segmentation, lead management, branding, digital, and all other marketing campaigns. You will apply a balanced blend of business expertise, strategic thinking, and marketing acumen to align marketing actions across the customer journey to drive revenue growth. This position is part of the Global Commercial Organization located in Deer Park, Illinois and will be onsite. Relocation assistance is available. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Work as the conduit between the Business Units, Commercial, and Regional Marketing teams to drive profitable revenue growth of LBS products and services globally. + Develop and lead a strategic vision that increases awareness of LBS’s corporate brand, upholds and enhances the company’s corporate reputation and strengthens LBS’s position as a leading cancer diagnostics company. + Deliver impactful marketing campaigns that create awareness of LBS’s products and services, nurture customers along their buying journey, and drive direct ecommerce revenue or qualified leads to the sales team. + Provide leadership in defining, mapping, and documenting key marketing campaign processes and developing standard work for the team. Provide recommendations to senior leadership on improvements to marketing processes that will drive scalability and efficiency. + Manage all internal and external communications including social media. + Partners with other LBS commercial leaders in driving key strategic and operational initiatives to improve marketing operations effectiveness, efficiency and provide insights into key areas for process improvements. + Attract, lead and grow a team of competent marketing professionals to support the organization's growth objectives; leverages best practices and collaborates closely with product teams, digital and regional marketing. The essential requirements of the job include: + Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of experience in marketing with a minimum of 5 years of experience in leading a global marketing team. MBA and experience in the Diagnostics or Life Sciences markets preferred. + Strong financial and business acumen; has strong analytical ability to work and understand the relationship between multiple business systems like Power BI, Excel, SFDC, etc. + Demonstrated track record of revenue growth, customer experience and market share growth. + Outstanding interpersonal skills and executive presence with an ability to work with people at multiple levels both inside and outside of Danaher; can influence strongly cross-functionally within the organization, gaining buy-in and engagement. + Excellent process orientation with a proven track record of leading sustainable change and continuous improvement. + Both strategic and tactical capabilities, can analyze the market, competitors and company strengths and weaknesses, create winning marketing strategies and be hands-on and help execution at detailed level when targets are missed. The salary range for this role is $187,800.00 - $275,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
