The Senior Director, Global Marketing is responsible for building successful global launches of Bausch Health’s assets. This role will focus on co-defining global brand strategies and driving cross-functional collaboration to prepare a Go-to-Market plan (including country prioritization for filing based on market potential, regional alignment/coordination, and pricing/reimbursement strategy).
The responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
+ Global Brand Strategy & Development. This role will be responsible for the co-development of Global Brand Plans, which will include market shaping planning and strategy as well as segmentation, product messaging, positioning, and strategy and important brand elements such as naming, logo, colors, and development of a brand book.
+ Market, Patient, Competitive, and Reimbursement Landscape Expertise. This role requires robust patient, market, competitive, and reimbursement understanding to inform brand strategy, business case analysis, and Go-to-Market launch plan. Collaboration with the regions will be essential to mastering the commercial landscape, including competition, patient journeys, unmet needs, and reimbursement.
+ Forecasting and Budgeting. This role will lead building a revenue and expense forecast for each region and will provide inputs into the long-range company plan
+ Agency On Boarding and Strategic Direction. This will include co-selection of an Agency of Record (AOR) and leading the strategic direction of the AOR
+ Development of a Global promotional campaign. In conjunction with AOR and Global Brand Teams, build a global promotional campaign to be delivered to regions
+ Alignment on Global Market Access/Reimbursement. Build a global approach to gather insights and inform pricing guidance and reimbursement decisions, including guidance to the regions to ensure alignment with brand global strategy. In collaboration with Market Access, this role will inform the reimbursement framework and global value proposition as well as identify additional clinical work that is needed to bring products to market
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or business-related discipline).
+ MBA or related Master’s Degree preferred
+ Minimum 10 years of experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry, with global marketing experience (Regional experience may also be considered)
+ Experience leading global brand teams to drive pre-launch period
+ Experience with leading launch strategies and new product launch experience
+ Experience leading cross-functional teams including Operations, R&D, Regulatory, Medical, Commercial Insights)
+ Experience in strategic brand planning
+ Ability to partner with R&D and Regulatory teams to successfully bring assets to market
+ Previous experience in GI and/or hepatology, preferred
+ Excellent quantitative abilities and excellent executive communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
+ Proven ability to use analytical skills and critical thinking to diagnosis business issues and incorporate into development or adjustment of marketing plans to achieve business results in a self-directed manner
+ Exceptional use of time management, planning, organizational, selling and negotiation skills
+ Ability to work well across a matrix organization with strong collaboration skills and ability to lead cross-functional partners without direct reporting structure
