As Senior Director of Influence Marketing, you will closely collaborate with many of Edelman’s departments, including Creative, PR, DxI, Digital, Social, Finance, etc. You’ll be required to have strong leadership, communication, project management skills and have a clear understanding of our client’s overall business and marketing strategies. You will understand how to bridge quantitative input with the qualitative characteristics of content, creators and talent, and you will be expected to use those skills to make informed decisions on behalf of our clients.
As a Senior Director of Influencer Marketing, you will be responsible for the oversight of influencer partnerships across all tiers of talent, branded video content, social platforms, digital media, the talent management space, and a proven track record of prospecting, negotiating and closing deals to support and fulfill the strategic objectives of UEG’s clients. REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience in an agency setting, technology media, or related field; Influencer Marketing experience Proven record in developing influencer relationships, strategizing, developing brand content and evergreen campaigns to track ROI and negotiations Deep knowledge, experience and consulting expertise in influencer management BS/BA in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience Proven ability to drive new business or incremental opportunities within existing accounts to build brand awareness Experience in content development and creation and previous experience in a talent management setting Proven thought leadership in creator and influencer marketing Deep knowledge of influencer partnerships across all tiers of talent, branded video content, social platforms, digital media, and the talent management space Strong digital strategy and content skills, with a proven track record working with integrated brands in the digital and social space Extensive experience presenting to key stakeholders Strong communicator that can develop complex strategy and creative presentations to lead and present to key stakeholders PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:Exceptional leadership and management skills and superb oral and written communication, with seasoned presentation and influencing skills Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and persuade staff, peers and clients Strong experience in influencer marketing including maintaining relationships with influencers and management agencies, executing small and large influencer programs from start to finish Create and own goals in coordination with DxI for campaigns; monitor regularly to understand effectiveness of strategy and creative, making recommendations for continuous improvement Knowledge of influencer partnerships across all tiers of talent, branded video content, social platforms, digital media, and the talent management space. Creative problem-solving abilities, that can manage quick turnkey asks, while managing client expectations Strong client skills, along with proven ability to develop and manage complex influencer marketing programs from micro to mid- and top-tier Familiar with influencer marketing contracts and legal requirements Hands-on supervisor who works well with a team to do great work, and can write and present well to clients KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Driving strategic vision for supported client book of business, proactively identifying areas of opportunity for influence Drives internal operational excellence programs to create new offerings, streamline processes and continue internal education growth Holistically can bridge internal counterparts to build integrated programs from ideation to execution (DxI, Digital, Paid, Creative, etc) Effectively budget new scopes of work and build influencer plans, as well as handle talent negotiations - (strategic, creative & tactical) Build and maintain relationships with leads across Edelman divisions to become the critical partner of influence strategy, development, and evangelizing. Analyze industry trends, comparing competitive activities and opportunities Jump into existing workstreams across the team and develop and apply actionable strategies for engaging relevant content creators and influencers Prepare and present campaign briefings/updates/recaps for clients Identify new content creators by vertical and category Compile and maintain influencer profiles in our proprietary tech platforms Oversee and negotiate contracts with influencers on behalf of clients Oversee and execute the creation of briefing materials for influencers and for clients Coordinate with influencers on deliverables Work with internal specialists and oversee and recommend enhanced paid and analytics plans Strong communicator that can develop complex strategy and creative presentations to lead and present to key stakeholders Manage staff on workstreams (based on assignments) $79,000 - $115,000 a yearAn employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
