Develop and execute local medical strategies aligned with global strategic plans, providing inspirational leadership to local medical teams, especially MSL teams. Lead local real-world evidence (RWE) activities and ensure local market insights inform global strategies. Additionally, the role includes compliance responsibilities and, beyond core medical affairs activities, may encompass aspects of regulation, pharmacovigilance, medical information and commercial training.
Direct reporting to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and an indirect reporting line to Iberia's General Manager.
Member of Iberia leadership team and Global Medical Affairs leadership team, providing strategic view, cross-functional support to the other members, participating and facilitating the decision-making.

Ensure strategic alignment and close collaboration with local and cross-functional internal teams (R&D, Medical Affairs, Compliance, Brand Teams, Market Companies, Digital, Regulatory, Safety, and Market Access). Gain market knowledge through an extensive network of contacts with key local stakeholders, such as Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), attending conferences, and scientific meetings. Qualifications and Experience Medical or scientific degree. Over 5 years of experience in medical affairs, in a country leadership position. Product launch experience, desirable in Biologics. Knowledge of the Spanish market. Knowledge of the Portuguese market a plus. In-depth knowledge of Dermatology highly desirable. Demonstrated success in team leadership.
