Senior Director, Medical Information

As the Senior Director of Medical Information you will lead and supervise a core function that provides accurate, unbiased, balanced, and timely responses to unsolicited medical inquiries regarding our marketed products and those in development. You will be accountable for the scientific/medical accuracy of any Medical Information content.
We provide the perspective and expertise to develop necessary policies and procedures that are in accordance with industry standards and appropriate regulations/guidelines relating to medical information. You are expected to lead with vision and innovate with new technologies to communicate and distribute medical information materials.
This position is located in Sleepy Hollow, NY and will require you to be on-site for 3+ days/week. A fully remote option is not available. If eligible, we can offer relocation assistance.
**A typical day may include the following:**
Oversee the Medical Information Call Center ensuring proper training, accurate medical information disseminated to HCPs and consumers.
Drive innovative ideas to capitalize on Global Medical Communications (GMC) Digital capabilities
Oversees and monitor our Medical Information portal continually seeking ways enhancing capabilities
Embrace use of Generative AI applying new or emerging technologies to drive efficiency
Lead and cultivate a strong Global Medical Information team
Manages medical inquiry insights reporting with consistent visualization of tends/metrics.
Oversee the writing and quality of response documents for the call center facilitates the review/approval process and maintenance of such.
Ensures coverage and support at company sponsored medical information booths at congresses
Oversees, creates, or improves processes and working practices for medical information Global teams
Support product launch, lifecycle, and pipeline activities
Liaises with relevant departments to develop and stay current with product knowledge
Gains and sustains expertise with Regeneron products, relevant disease state, pipeline products, and competitive products
Maintain a working knowledge of all pertinent FDA, EMEA and/or other regulatory, OIG, other governmental agency guidance’s and regulations (e.g., HIPPA, copyright laws etc.)
Ensures team is trained and coached on effective reviews of promotional and medical material for balanced scientific accuracy
Ensure the team is viewed as an essential member of our Medical Impact Teams (MIT) due to actively contributing to the medical strategy
Analyze, interpret, and summarize medical literature for findings with clinical/strategic relevance
Identify, analyze, and share medical information inquiry trends via data visualization tools for consistency.
Develop and manage department budget including adherence to proactive fiscal responsibility ensuring close management and adjustments as needed

To be considered a PharmD, MD or PhD with 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 7+ years with a focus in Medical Information. Your experience must include leading and growing team of medical information professionals. Strong interpersonal skills particularly motivational, negotiation, listening, judgment, analytic, problem solving and management skills, demonstrated by ability to lead teams. Experience integrating consistent medical information processes across Franchises through matrix management.

$212,900.00 - $354,800.00
