Summary: We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Director of Software Engineering to lead our mobile and software development organization. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from concept to delivery, ensuring the creation of high-quality software products that meet our users' needs. Responsibilities: * Senior Director will manage large mobile (iOS and Android) software teams of 40+ staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment * Develop and implement a comprehensive software development strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals * Lead and mentor engineering managers, providing guidance and support in driving team success * Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, including product planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance * Champion the adoption of best practices in software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum * Stay up to date on the latest software development trends and technologies, and identify opportunities for innovation * As a Senior Director, you will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, such as product management, design, and marketing, to ensure a seamless product development process * Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external * Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the software development organization
