WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Lead matrixed teams to deliver business unit strategy, initiatives and transformational projects to achieve business unit goals and successful change management. Develop and implement strategies that foster a positive workplace environment, lead employee advisory groups, and organize department-wide meetings. Participates in the development, planning, execution, and monitoring of the Red Cross Biomedical Supply Chain strategic plan. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.

This position can work remotely, anywhere in the United States.

This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in the development, planning, and execution of Supply Chain wide operational strategies and activities and establish metrics, monitor, measure, and evaluate performance to plan. Serve as national union liaison, supporting Senior Partnership Committee sanctioned committees, and manage/maintain exceptional communication channels with union coalition partners, Supply Chain senior leadership team, field leadership and staff, and cross-functional product and process owners.Responsible for leading Scheduling Advisory Groups with union partners. Supports National Addendum negotiations, collaborates with Supply Chain senior leadership team and Finance to evaluate proposals/impacts on operations and related costs.Direct the development and execution of comprehensive culture enhancement and employee engagement strategies.Direct execution of business unit training delivery and volunteer strategies to improve operational performance and reduce operational costs. Lead/support business unit projects and changes, as assigned, directing teams through discovery, planning, and implementation in support of business unit initiatives/projects.  Drive successful change management initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness, minimize resistance, and ensure seamless transitions during change.Serve as a point of contact for the business unit to other biomedical and organizational units

Pay Information: The salary range for this position is $150,000-170,000

Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor's degree required.Experience: Minimum 10 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. Minimum of seven years of leading large, cross-functional matrixed work teams with improved service delivery and cost-saving focus.      Management Experience: 7 years of management experience.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities. Demonstrated proficiency in leading matrixed teams, business planning, operational analysis, and project management required. Ability to accomplish goals through delegation, teamwork and project management. Familiarity with current medical/technical principles of blood services operations highly desirable.Strong collaboration skills; ability to effectively communicateTravel: Some travel may be required.

Physical Requirements

Physical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods of time. May include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle, and working under challenging conditions.
