Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Senior Director, Optimization Member & Provider Services to join our Member & Provider Services Optimization team.

About the roleYou will be responsible for defining the vision and strategy for our Member and Provider Services function, and guiding their team to identify and execute process improvement efforts to enable it. You will design and execute operational strategies aimed at delivering a best in class experience, enabling excellent and scalable operations in alignment with Oscars corporate strategy, key performance metrics, and industry regulations.
You will report to the VP, Member & Provider Services Optimization.

Pay Transparency:
The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington is: $192,000 - $252,000 year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $172,800 - $226,800 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar’s unlimited vacation program, company equity grants and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities Develop programs that deliver the experience and operational outcomes to drive Oscar’s member and provider growth strategy Design the vision for Oscars process model in partnership w/ key cross functional stakeholders and executives Develop a strategic roadmap, enabling vision through thoughtful planning and inclusion of prioritized project criteria (e.g. Impact, LOE, Risk, investment, confidence, etc) Operationalize team through goal setting and the creation of program and project management processes enabling alignment within and outside your function Produce clear and comprehensive readouts to executives and cross functional partners enabling alignment and collaboration on strategy and ongoing projects Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of managers and their reports - create culture of excellence and collaboration with company first mindset Develop and continuously improve foundational processes Ensure operational compliance with all relevant regulatory/ accreditation agencies and meets contractual requirements Lead team to surface data, process, and technology issues through proactive identification, measurement, and monitoring of operations; partner cross functionally to develop end-to-end strategy that leverages these insights to scale Manage, develop and maintain relationships cross-functionally to drive multi department collaboration to drive results for strategic initiatives Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations Other duties as assigned Qualifications 12+ years experience in healthcare strategy and operations within industry or consulting setting 8+ years of leadership experience 8+ years of experience in program management and/or process design or implementation Bonus Points MBA Health Insurance, or Management Consulting experience with a focus on servicing members and providers as a health plan Lean / Six Sigma experience Financial modeling experienceThis is an authentic Oscar Health job opportunity. Pay Transparency: Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
