Senior Director, Professional Services, Charles River Development, Managing Director

What we are looking for

Responsible for financial forecasting and project governance for the EMEA Region – ensuring target profit margins for implementation services projects. Specific responsibilities will include leading proper build out and execution of a framework for scope definition, project estimation, resource alignment and change management. This role will interface with all internal divisions of the Charles River and State Street and reports to the Charles River EMEA regional head along with matrix reporting to the Global Head of Delivery. In addition, the MD, Senior Director, Professional Services will work with sales leadership to develop business through positioning and selling services for new and existing customers.

What you are responsible for:

Partnering with finance for EMEA region demand forecasting, to achieve implementation services group revenue goals and utilization targetsDeveloping and implementing best practices around project governance and financial reporting with partnership from the Global and EMEA Delivery Leads.In partnership with the EMEA Delivery lead establish proper project governance for EMEA projects to manage scope and budget, ensuring projects remain profitableWork with the EMEA Delivery Lead to ensure all team personnel are effectively utilized.Review and report on implementation status to ensure senior management has visibility of potential issues, and proactively work with the relevant stakeholders and staff to resolve these.In partnership with the EMEA Delivery lead, work on achieving successful, on schedule, on budget projects, as well as a high level of client satisfaction with implementation services.Serve as liaison to Sales, R&D (Product Management, Engineering and QA) or other departments with needs or dependencies on services (and vice versa) to share expertise, escalate, champion/resolve issues, etc.Support the Global and EMEA practice leads in continuously improving implementation practices and procedures such as estimating, scoping, quality assurance reviews, methodologies, and reengineering to deliver cost effective and efficient deployments.Ensure that staff adhere to policies and procedures.Participate in sales process where requiredWork with practice leads to prepare realistic estimates, assumption documents, and SOWs for delivery to prospects and where necessary for inclusion in customer contracts.Lead meetingsConduct project and account reviews (internal and external)
