The Senior Director, Service Sales leads the service sales teams in North America and EMEA. This role is pivotal in driving the growth and success of our consulting services, co-marketing services, product licensing, and digital services. The individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
The ideal candidate will be a creative sales leader with a deep understanding of the operational aspects of selling. They will have a proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams, a strong ability to innovate, and a commitment to driving results. WITHIN YOUR ROLE, YOU WILL:
Lead a team of creative sellers targeting brands and agencies, offering a unique and diverse line of services from Pantone.Define target verticals, craft compelling sales stories, and structure deals to maximize engagement and conversion.Develop innovative ideas to captivate brands, oversee deal approval processes, and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor success.Formulate and execute client selling strategies, conduct negotiations, and pitch proposals to clients effectively.Facilitate cross-functional communication to mobilize resources and enhance sales workflows.Collaborate with sales team members on a deal-by-deal basis to brainstorm strategies and ensure sales goals are met by individuals and regions.Define compensation structures, prioritize selling initiatives, and develop service offering packages.Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with salespeople to review pipelines, provide guidance on advancing deals, and maintain team motivation.Personally reach out to contacts at brands and agencies, and travel as needed to meet clients and pitch for new business.Enforce the use of CRM systems to track progress, analyze leading sales indicators, and ensure the team is on track to achieve its goals.Set and communicate clear goals and targets for each team member and department.YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:
10+ years of leading a high-performing sales team spanning creative selling and solutions selling.A high willingness to roll up your sleeves and get very hands on.A demonstrated record of operational excellence at the sales leadership position.Executive facing interaction and presentation skills.Ability to speak to creative leaders internally and externally without “corporate speak”.In-depth creative industry knowledge. Including creative brainstorming and creative solutions solving.Direct sales and large account management experience is essential.Driven by facts and figures, with strong problem-solving skills and data analytics skills.Have strong hands-on mentality and ability to continue to drive our expansion plans in new and high growth markets.Have C-level sales experience and proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.English language skills, further foreign language skills are an advantageUS ONLY:
The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $190,000 - $200,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Commission Pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
